The General manager (GM) will be responsible for all of the operations of the club units, with a focus on generating revenue, managing all aspects of the staff and operations, and controlling costs.
They will oversee the day-to-day operations of all teams, implementing and supervising the mission/ vision/ values of the brand and managing the achievement of departmental KPIs. They work closely with the sales team, the fitness team, the admin team, maintenance team and support team to ensure everyone has the tools and equipment they need, and the members are satisfied with their gym experience.
The primary responsibilities of the GM include stimulating and managing revenues, managing all staff, managing gym floor activities, optimising class schedules and the working schedules.
The single most important goal is selling and retaining memberships, and the establishment of a safe and fun health & fitness environment.
1. Drive operational excellence of the club, by implementing and following standard operation procedures, conduct self-assessment & health / safety audits.
2. Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the Sales Force, Group Exercise and Fitness/ Personal Training force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
3. Implementing sales and marketing strategies; analysing trends and results of the local operation in conjunction with the HQ team.
4. Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal targets of the sales force, aligning with company sales policies and strategies and the overall budget.
5. Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key local demographics.
6. Develop, maintain and execute marketing plan in conjunction with the sales plan.
7. Provide and analyse daily reports of Sales Force and communicate data to superiors.
8. Manage and administrate the entire fitness & group exercise operation and assisting in the Fitness/ Personal Training operation.
9. Maintain group exercise attendance volume, to support retention, to increase net membership growth, offer the desired product mix and upsell Personal Training services by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
10. Analyse and optimise the group exercise operation, via its attendance and ensure the class schedule matching the member flow and peak operational timings.
11. Provide on-the-ground support for Group Exercise & Personal Trainers, as they generate leads and upsell packages by working the gym-floor and doing sales calls.
12. Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
13. Provide and analyse daily reports Group Exercise, Fitness Training and Personal Training and communicate data to superiors.
14. Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition.
15. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the direct reporting team (seniors, supervisors, team leads) and manage their development program accordingly.
16. Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts.
17. Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans.
18. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; research online, establishing personal & professional networks; participating in professional societies.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales performance of the Company. Your role is to lead the sales and build and develop a strong sales team that will work towards the sales targets set by Management.

The Group Fitness Manager will be responsible for managing the fitness aspects of the Club. In addition to delivering fitness classes, the Group Fitness Manager will assist in managing the group fitness and personal training aspects of the Club.
The primary responsibilities of the Group Fitness Manager include recruiting and managing a fitness team, ensuring correct program design, monitoring and improving the coaching delivery of all group fitness classes, ensuring the quality of coaching delivery is achieved, working with management to set the correct rosters, ensuring adequate motivation and training is delivered to the coaching team, working with the trainers to stimulate personal training demand, ensure all fitness staff are well trained and knowledgeable on the products and services offered, building a fun, energetic and positive culture and building strong relationships with Club members.
The Group Fitness Manager will also be involved in promotional and marketing activities that help promote and spread awareness of the Club.

2. Assist in recruiting a qualified, skilled and experienced fitness team to deliver a mix variety of group fitness classes and personal training.
3. Ensure all processes are followed for completing Personal Training and Group Fitness programming.

5. Ensuring all fitness team members adhere to all relevant systems, policies and processes.
6. Ensuring all fitness classes are covered at all times.

Qualifications & Skills include:
The Fitness Representative will be responsible for generating and closing sales leads for the Club. The Sales Representative will be required to achieve the sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
The objectives of the role is to achieve both individual and team sales goals in generating and converting new leads, and renewing dropped members.
The Fitness Representatives are expected to display initiative while following all management guidelines and policies that are in place in order to maximise the sales and revenues of the Club.
1. Understanding the sales process and sales funnel of the Club under the direction of the Sales Manager.
2. Independently generating new sales leads and achieving the sales targets set by Management.
3. Qualifying sales leads and nurturing them through the sales process to convert them to members.

The Group Fitness Coach will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of group fitness classes. The Group Fitness Coach will be required to handle multiple classes each day, as well as handle large crowds in each class.
The Group Fitness Coach will need to either program for their fitness classes, or follow the program set for such fitness classes.
The Group Fitness Coach will also be required to deliver a high level of Personal Training services to clients outside of the group fitness coaching.
It is expected that all Group Fitness Coaches have a high standard of personal fitness, and can deliver fun, energetic, and positive fitness classes that achieve great fitness results for Club Members.

The Personal Trainer will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of one-on-one personal training sessions.
The Personal Trainer will program individually for their clients using the appropriate software, and ensure that all workouts and results are accurately entered and recorded. The Personal Trainer must be skilled at establishing great rapport with their clients and keep a high retention rate.
Revenue and session targets will form part of the job, where the Personal Trainer will be expected to achieve their monthly revenue targets. One-off and complimentary sessions will also form part of the job to assist with the sales process.
It is expected that all Group Fitness Coaches have a high standard of personal fitness, and can deliver fun, energetic, and positive fitness classes that achieve great fitness results for Club Members.

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for interacting and welcoming all members to the facility.
The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for enforcing entry requirements at the point of entry, and following all systems and procedures as set forth by management.
Troubleshooting members concerns and answering common questions will be a requirement, as the Customer Service will be the main in-person point of contact for all members.
The role requires that the Customer Service be professionally presented and behaved at all times, and is to ensure a friendly and happy demeanour at all times on duty.
